I just got back from the Phoenix Comicon and here is my take on it.

First if you stay at the Hyatt expect to wait 20 minutes or more to use the elevator due to large crowds and people not using the escalator to go from the first to second floor.

The staff there were friendly and professional too me. It is also just a minutes walk to the convention from the hotel.

As far as the convention itself I will cover the negatives first. Excluding the elevator problem the only problems were some of the volunteer staffing had problems. They kind of dropped me and I felt a little ignored, but otherwise they were pretty good. Saturday was too crowded the convention is still out growing itself. They need more panels and more exhibits and vendors to take up the crowd.

The positives were that the people on the panels were great and the artists were too. Everyone there went  to have a good time.

I visited my sister in the hospital on Saturday. The port they put in her leg is still infected but she is out of ICU. She seems to be getting better but is in a lot of pain. I ditched for an hour and a half to attend a meeting downtown at the Phoenix convetion center, which disapointed me.

My mom and I ate at Joe's Farm Grill which was featured on Guy Fierri's show Diners, Drive ins, and Dives.
The line was out the door and had not dimminished by the time we had finished eating and left. The food was good, not super outstanding, but beats out many chain places. I think this is why people like to eat here instead of dealing with a flunky failing at their McJob.

The meeting was for the staff and volunteers for the Phoenix Comicon at the end of the month. Limp handshakes and an attitude of if we do not know you do not talk to us was felt by me. The individuals that are in charge of the photographers, who I needed to see were not there, so this was a bust and I still have no clue what is expected of me or what I need to do.

When I came into work this morning I was met with good news. My most favorite person in the world is dead. They threw some concrete overshoes on him and he sleeps with the fishes. Rot in Hell Assholma bin Laden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister seems to be doing better I should see her Saturday. It is her birthday and she has had a lot of visitors while in the hospital.Very stressful day at work: too many people off and too many people making serious mistakes. I really do not want to go to mass tonight.

First Blog

This is my first blog here. I have tried blogging before but have failed basically from laziness and the fact that I tend to be very boring; also I communicate predominately via grunts and bodily noises.

Currently I am dealing with some family, personal, and spiritual problems, that I will elaborate on in the future.

I am also planning on attending the Phoenix Comicon this May and will attempt to do a series of blogs documenting my experiences there.

I will also be sharing my bucket list and the experiences and process of atempting to complete it.
